Commands
The script registers five chat commands. Every permission is checked on the server. The commands themselves are visible to everyone, and the server refuses anyone who may not use them.
Admin
A player passes the admin gate if any one of these is true:
- they are the server console;
- they are in a
Config.AdminGroupsframework group; - they hold the
Config.CreatorAceACE (group.admin); - they hold the
Config.CreatorPermissionACE (vs-impoundjob.creator); - they are listed in
Config.CreatorIds.
See Configuration.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/impoundcreator | Opens (or closes) the in-game Creator: create lots, place points, lay bays, draw call areas, edit settings. Renamed with Config.CreatorCommand. |
/impound | Impounds the car you are sitting in or looking at, within 15 m, into the nearest yard. The car must be networked and have a readable plate. |
/release <plate> | Releases a held car and brings it out at its yard's handover bay. Plates with a space work as typed, e.g. /release PZB 853. The bay must be clear. |
Police
Available to the jobs in Config.PoliceJobs (default police) and Config.TowTarget.jobs, and to admins. If the framework reports the officer's police job as off duty, the request is refused.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/requesttow | Requests a forced removal of the car you are sitting in or looking at (up to 30 m). Opens the request screen to pick a yard and give a reason. Renamed with Config.TowCommand. |
The same request is available on foot from the target eye: Request forced removal on any car. See Towing.
Everyone
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/chiama [note] | Calls the nearest staffed yard out to you. Anything after the command is sent as a note. Renamed with Config.CallCommand, which you should change to a word your players use. |
/impound and /release are common command names. If another resource on your server also registers one of them, for example a police job's own impound command, the two collide. Test both after installing.
There are no key bindings to set up. Everything else in the job, including the terminals, peds, clock, flatbed, winch, chocks, and cones, is used through ox_target.
