Impound Job

A complete vehicle impound and towing system for FiveM. Police call in a forced removal, a tow truck collects the car, it is parked in a yard, and its owner pays to get it back. Around that loop sit a player-run towing business and a no-whitelist tow job any player can work.

Every yard is built in-game with the Creator. There are no coordinates to paste and no map file to edit.

The Impound Heist is included. The same purchase grants a second resource, vs-impound-heist: a co-op heist that robs the yards you build here. Install it only if you want it.

Works on ESX, QBCore, and Qbox, auto-detected.

Four ways to run a lot

Each yard (the script calls them lots) runs in one of four service modes, picked when it is created and changeable later:

  • NPC Staffed. The script does the work. Police tows are collected by a scripted NPC tow truck, a receptionist takes the release fee, and a clerk hands the car back at the bay.
  • Player Staffed. A business players own and work. Creating one sets up its own framework job (Yard Clerk, Tow Driver, Boss). Employees clock in, sign trucks out, answer police tow jobs and assistance calls, book cars in, and invoice releases at the counter. The boss sets prices, hires staff, buys trucks, and can pay wages from the business account.
  • Auto Staffed. Both at once. Police tows go to the staff when anyone is clocked in, and to the NPC truck when nobody is.
  • Public Job. A depot, not a yard. Any player can sign on with the dispatcher, take a truck out, and work breakdown calls for cash, building reputation and buying better trucks.

Feature highlights

  • Police forced removals. /requesttow, or the target eye on any car. A request screen lists the yards that can collect it, nearest first, with who would answer and a reason for the removal.
  • A scripted NPC tow truck. It drives in, lines up, reverses onto the car, hooks it with the real tow arm, and drives off with it.
  • A yard you can see. Impounded cars stand in the parking bays you lay, in their own paint, wheels, lights, and extras.
  • Release fees with a late charge. A base fee, a price per vehicle class, and an optional daily storage charge with a grace period and a cap.
  • A player-run business.
    • Staff terminal: counter, invoices, dispatch board, assistance calls.
    • Boss terminal: overview, finances, prices, yard, fleet, stock, accreditation, staff.
    • Also: a duty clock, a store room, a changing room, and optional lot-paid wages.
  • A fleet that wears out. Trucks lose condition every shift and every crash, rust as they wear, and cost money to repair. Heavier trucks unlock through accreditation.
  • A flatbed recovery truck shipped with the script. The custom flatbed3 has a sliding, tilting deck, twin winch cables, and wheel chocks.
  • A public tow depot.
    • Two clocks per call.
    • Eight special call types: illegal parking, two-car accident, angry owner, out of fuel, for the mechanic, police seizure, accident with injured, and a lift home.
    • A reputation ladder and a truck ladder.
  • Assistance calls. Any player can call a staffed yard out to them with one command.
  • Call areas. Draw the district each lot serves on a map in the Creator.
  • Server-authoritative. Every payment, distance, role, and duty check runs on the server, and everything persists in MySQL.
