Changelog

All notable changes to vs-impound-heist. Newest first.

1.0.0 (2026-11-01)

Initial release.

  • Full contract → preparation → green light → break-in → delivery loop: a fixer, scouting, a microcamera photograph, a supplier, a signal repeater, a window smash, a hot-wire, an optional safe, and a buyer who drives the car away.
  • Runs on any yard built in the Impound Job. Yards, gates, parking bays and safes are read from vs-impoundjob through one read-only export, with a per-yard "This yard can be robbed" switch in its Creator.
  • Nothing real is stolen. The mark and its decoys are spawned in the yard's own empty bays; no impounded car or database row is touched.
  • Identify the mark. Up to 3 decoys of different models, and a phone-style microcamera with a zoom lens. Only the server knows which car is the right one.
  • Gates released, not teleported. The signal box opens vs-minigames' frequency tuner; a lock releases every yard gate and the entrance gate for all players.
  • Supplier van with a card shop, server-side pricing, and required items that become preparation rows.
  • The green light: a configurable wait for the fixer's call after the crew reports ready, with the preparation clock stopped.
  • Optional safe with a post-it combination hidden at one of several spots per yard, a code dial, and a door that swings open on the WXMAPS Los Santos Impound's safe prop.
  • Category pricing: eleven vehicle categories, a damage penalty scaled by body health, and an even crew split.
  • Reputation ladder: four tiers with seven wired perks, stored in the vs_heist_reputation table shared with the Laundromat Heist.
  • Police: an optional minimum number of officers, and one built-in silent alarm per contract with three selectable triggers.
  • In-game setup from the HEIST button in the Impound Job Creator: the fixer, the supplier, the buyers, cars and prices, clocks, police rules, and each yard's safe and post-its.
  • Server-authoritative: phases, distances, purchases and payouts decided on the server; minigame results need one-shot tokens.
  • Qbox / QBCore / ESX, auto-detected. Requires ox_target and ox_inventory.
  • Localised through locales/*.lua, with English as the fallback for any untranslated line.
